DONATIONS FOR OUR TROOPS

Here is an email sent to the Villager Newspaper from Sgt. Joel Collins of
Woodstock who is on the front lines of Iraq.
"Hey guys! Thanks a lot!! If you'd like to help us out here that would be awesome! A big thing amoungst all the guys is the green "Monster" energy drinks and any kind of protein products because we don't get to eat all that good...and the energy drinks keep us awake; Small snacks and pretty much anything just to keep us occupied on our down time would be perfect! I really appreciate the help and so do all the boys in the platoon..."
Remember those who continue to work for our freedom!
Please drop your donations to any of the Chace stores and we'll send them along to the Villager to be sent to our troops in Iraq.

 GAF ELK PRICE CHANGES
Chace recently recieved this letter from GAF ELK regarding their product pricing - we felt that you all would appreciate hearing the information as it was presented to us.
TO: All Northeast Area Customers
RE: New Construction/Builder Pricing GAF/ELK
Due to the escalating costs of our raw materials nationwide, all pricing for New Construction/Builder/Roofer in the Northeast Area and the three regions within it, will invoice at market/matrix pricing effective with shipments on September 1, 2008. After this date, pricing will be adjusted with any increase in Market Matrix pricing.
It will be the responsiblity of each customer to advise all of their construction customers of these circumstances and any pricing impact to them. Our territory managers and regional managers can also assist in this communication.
We have no way to predict the certainty of any future Matket Matrix price increase as we cannot control the costs of our raw materials. To the extent we can, we have tried to provide 30 days notice of such increases in the past and will endeavor to continue to do so going forward, but that might not always be possible during times of turmoil like we currently face.
As of August 1, 2008 the Chace Building Supply
