It is Chace tradition that each year, the Chace crew puts on a day long eat-fest of sorts. Fresh, hot breakfast will be served starting when our contractor door opens at 6am and just about the time we clean that up, a remarkable amount of snack and lunch food is brought out for all to enjoy for lunch. Please join us at any of our three locations for our holiday feast. This is one of the ways that we can say thank you for your business throughout the year and is truly a fantastic day. All three stores will be hosting the event on Friday, December 21. Come in before you go to your jobsite, during your lunch break or each time you pass by for a snack. We have a number of such items in storage in our receiving department that we are willing to sell at hugely discounted rates. Items on the list include cabinets, countertops, windows, doors, decking and so much more. The Killingly High School Student Chapter of the
Home Builder's Association has been chosen
to compete at the International Builders Show in Orlando!
Chace Building Supply is proud to have our very own Lou Cicarelli as the student advisor of the KHS student chapter of the Home Builder's Association. We always like to participate in these type of programs that help young people dive into the building industry with a great education and lots of hands on experience under their belt. The Killingly High School Chapter of the Home Builders Association has been hand chosed to compete at the 07-08 International Builders Show Student Competition at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando February 13-15, 2008. The students will be putting their hammers down in order to concentrate on managerial skills that are intensely complex. They will be expected to develop, trouble shoot and organize a full set of architectural drawings, create a complete list of materials with pricing, produce a construction schedule including a Gantt chart, and create a marketing campaign for the fictitious competition project. The students will make a presentation and stand before a panel of judges to answer specific questions about their work. To make this possible they are looking for local support. The trip will be the experience of a lifetime for many of the students. They are working extremely hard and deserve our support! There will be a silent auction held at the KHS Winter Concert on December 14. Bidding opens at 6:00pm and closes at 8:00pm. All benefits go to the students going to the competition in Florida. 2nd Annual Spirit of Woodstock Dinner Dance
February 9 - 6:00pm-11:30pm
This evening of fine food and dancing at the Raceway Resteraunt is sure to be a great time - it will feature music by the Great Garage Band Reunion and raises money to benefit the Woodstock Middle School Athletic Booster Club. Tickets will likely sell out very quickly. They are $50 each and $320 to reserve a table for 8. Chace C.A.M.P. a Huge Success!
Our Contractor Appreciation Month in Plainfield was a great icebreaker for that store. There was lots of food eaten and items given away. We gave over 200 contractor sweatshirts out and also had several winners for the larger weekly raffle items.
