Below is a partial list of events going on in our community this weekend and beyond. Many Chace Employees will be participating in these events and we figured we'd pass the info along to you in case you were interested in participating too!
The Woodstock Volunteer Fire Association is hosting their
2nd Annual Toy Collection
9am - 4pm, Tomorrow
Saturday, November 17
Bring your unwrapped toys or donations and be greeted by fire department personnel and freines. Come see Santa Claus! WVFA is right next to the Woodstock Town Hall at 399 Route 169 in Woodstock.
Fund Raiser In Memory of Joshua Peterson
Dinner Dance at Valley Springs
6pm - 11pm, Tomorrow
Saturday, November 17
This event will feature music by Stu Krauss and all proceeds will go to the Joshua S. Peterson Scholarship Fund. Tickets are limited and are $25 per person. Join Josh's family and friends for a night of great food, dancing, raffles and great memories of Josh.

Spaghetti & Meatball Dinner

This event will be held at the Knights of Columbus in North Grosvenordale. They will be serving dinner from 4-7pm an then dancing will ensue from 7-11pm. Enjoy live music from Tripp Road, raffles and more. Tickets are $15 with a meal and $10 for general admission. For more information, please call Pam at 935-9147
Christmas on the Hill Fair
Annual Silent Auction and Bake Sale at the First Congregational Church of Woodstock
10am - 2pm, Tomorrow
Saturday, November 17
This annual event features baked goods, dry fruit & nuts, wreaths & floral arrangements, Crabtree & Evelyn products all for sale. The silent auction will have antiques of all kinds, linens, old quilts, old farming tools, decorative copper and brass, china, glassware, figurines, vases, better crystal pieces, chairs, tables, desks, lamps and lighting, new or barely used kitchen and garden gadgets, sport, hobby and car collectibles, all kinds of art and so much more! Also planned for the day are a Chicken Pot Pie Luncheon, Hand Bell Mini Concerts at 11am & 12:30pm, a penny social, a general store and lots of friendly faces. Feel free to stop by this year's fair and join the holiday season kickoff tradition.
Santa Anonymous Winter Boot Project
Sixth Annual Boot Drive by R.S.V.P. of Windham/Tolland Counties
This is an ongoing project that benefitted over 550 children last year. The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) sponsred by Thames Valley Council for Community Action (TVCCA) is beginning it's sizth annual Santa Anonymous Boot Project. Their goal is to provide new warm winter boots for children for low-to-middle income families in our community. Monetary donations can also be made for the purchase of new boots and to help support the cost fo the project. For more information about the project please call 774-9286 (the Killingly Office of RSVP at the Killingly Community Center).
